A template is a fixed blog design that you can use for your blog. You can either choose to use the ready-made ones that you will find on blogger or you can play around with backgrounds and colours, fonts and sizes until you find a design that fits YOUR needs and tastes.
First open the templates by first clicking design in the top right hand corner of your blog and then afterwards click template.
Then choose customize.
The blogger template designer will now open and you are ready to explore by pressing the various titles like background, adjust widths, layout and advanced (with lots of individual possibilities).
